After studying at Dauphine and HEC (École des hautes études commerciales), Sophie began her career in investment banking, including four years in the biotechnology sector at Bryan, Garnier, and Kepler. As a result, she worked for biotechnology companies in various therapeutic areas, executing many deals, including IPOs (BioAlliance Pharma, Medicrea), capital increases (Transgene), block trades (Stedim), private placements (Trophos), as well as mergers and acquisitions.
She subsequently continued to work in the field of investment banking at HSBC and then in financial communications and investor relations for BPCE, a major French bank.
Parallel to her work for BPCE, for four years, Sophie was also involved with the Fonds CSP (PSC Fund), a non-profit organisation that aims to support research on a rare liver disease.
At the Fonds CSP, she has focused above all on increasing the value of the research carried out at Saint-Antoine Hospital by developing contacts and partnerships with biotech and pharma companies while also supervising the development of the research programme by interacting with the research team on a weekly basis.
Passionate about the healthcare sector, Sophie recently created her own consulting firm in the field of healthcare, Life Sciences Conseil, in order to help biotech start-ups raise capital by shaping their message to investors (venture capital funds, seed money, business angels, etc.) and advising venture capital funds on their investments in biotech start-ups.
