In 2010, Emma discovered that her husband, who was 39 at the time, had primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC). Bursting with energy, they moved to sunny California, where they decided together to create the Fonds CSP (PSC Fund) to raise money to boost researchto find a cure for the disease and to help those who suffer from it to feel less alone.
Engaged in philanthropy, Emma dedicates all her energy every year to collecting more donations from major individual donors and companies. She is involved in implementing various communications and public relations efforts. Every year, she organises several events, including a gala dinner that has become a must-attend event for loyal sponsors and donors and brings together some 200 celebrities from the world of fashion, media, high tech and French sponsorship.
After studying international business in Paris, London and Madrid, Emma joined an online media group as media buyer and PR manager. During the next 15 years, she held various communications positions with the Paris-based Bestofmedia Group (Purch). In 2011, she created and put her acquired experience to the service of the Fonds CSP (PSC Fund) on a voluntary basis.
Emma lives in Los Angeles with her husband and three daughters, with whom she loves to share her passions and deep belief in the importance of health and wellbeing. An avid photography and sports fan, Emma is also a dedicated runner who has participated in the New York and Los Angeles marathons while fighting for her cause.
